Meet the Instructor

Julie Cantillon

Instructor

Dr. Julie Cantillon is an experienced Catholic school teacher and leader having served as an associate superintendent in the Diocese of San Diego and as the academic dean of the Center for Talented Youth at Johns Hopkins University. Julie currently serves as the vice president for academics and advocacy at ADAC. In her advocacy role, she partners with nonprofit private schools in order to assist them with accessing services through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Julie’s broad experience and training include completing professional learning at the Learning Forward Academy at which her multi-year problem-of-practice focus was on elevating teacher leadership at the diocesan level. Julie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership Studies degree from the University of San Diego. Julie and her husband are parents to two young boys who attend Catholic school.
